Planning for a death to die for could be one of the most loving choices you can make for yourself and your loved ones.

I can help you navigate any uncertainties you may have by shedding a gentle light to reawaken those precious parts of yourself you may have lost connection with.  I’ll help you find a more awakened perspective through life’s transitions, and in particular, in preparation towards death.  We are designed to live and designed to die, let’s trust in this design together.

Death is not a fly in the cosmic ointment, it is the cosmic ointment” - Thomas Keneally

I’m here if:

You, or someone you love, has been confronted with their mortality and need someone to talk with.

You’ve been thinking of getting some matters relating to your end of life in order and not sure where to start.

You need someone to call when it’s not medical, and you’re suspecting it’s more an emotional or spiritual need.

You need some practical skills and knowhow to be able to take action.

You’re simply curious and willing to see what unfolds for now.

You would like to prepare yourself psychologically for future losses and help reduce any feelings of stress.

I can help if:

You would like me to sit with you and bear peaceful witness during your dying time.

Your past experience of death is getting in the way of you desiring to die differently.

You feel if you start the conversation you may enable your loved one/s to benefit from your courage.

You know and believe that the most loving thing you can do for yourself and those you love is to die with grace and impart wisdom.

You would like to cultivate a practice of simple supportive breathing techniques..

You would like to commence living legacy projects.

My mission

As part of my work with patients in oncology, cardiology and palliative care in a hospital, residential aged care and my work within the community:

  • I foster an awake and vibrant culture around matters of end of life and after death care.

  • I help people move toward healthy grief responses.

  • I advocate for people to have their wishes, values and dignity upheld until their last breath.

  • I build community capacity to re-engage and care for our dying.

I am committed to ongoing practices that enable me to be the best of myself and bring all of me to my work for those who seek my support.

I am qualified as a pastoral & spiritual care practitioner, an end of life doula practitioner and a holistic grief & bereavement counsellor. I also have a performing arts background in writing and directing and I have held exhibitions on related topics and facilitated support groups and educational programs.

Do not turn away from the fact of death but together make gentle it’s effect.

A little of my story

I was shaped as a young girl listening to my mother’s wondrous stories of her being present at the bedside of people dying. Her stories were without any hint of fear, fright or dread. I would look up at her and think, “Wow, I wish I could have been there.” Today in my work I have that privilege. I remain in that same place of wonder, when I bear witness to people in their dying time lean into and touch the Divine.
